II want us to use this week’s discussion to share thoughts, ideas, tips, tricks, etc. on giving effective presentations.
So, my question is this: What advice do you offer your classmates about making thier presentation effective and professional?
As you respond, think about the context of the screencast you all will be creating for this final assignment. If you are familiar with screencasts and/or screencast applications, perhaps chat a little about tips for effective screencasts. You might also chat about tips for effective PowerPoints or other slide-based presentations. Or, you might also give pointers for effective delivery of a presentation. Whatever you choose, draw from your experiences. Maybe you attended a bad presentation. What tips might you offer for avoiding the speaker’s errors (no names, please)?
And, lastly, include a link to an outside resource. Where might your classmates go to find additional information or helpful tips on effective presentations? Discuss the link you chose and how you think it will be helpful for purposes of this course and the current assignment.
